The Cinnabar Cup is CHMGA’s season long points race, modeled after the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup. Members earn points based on their finish in each CHMGA tournament they participate in, with the highest 15 tournament scores included in their total.

The top 22 finishers at the end of the regular season:

• • Qualify for the Cinnabar Cup Tournament, a two-day “Ryder Cup” style tournament held in October.

  • The first and second place finishers will act as team captains and select their teams from the qualifiers in a “draft” held prior to the tournament. They will also select two “captain’s picks” to round out the field to 24 players (2 teams of 12 each).

  • If a member who finished in the top 22 cannot play in the tournament, the next lowest finisher will be given the opportunity to replace them until a full slate of 24 members is chosen.
